Absolutely. I think we all get it from Sean Connery. he's the package deal! I love listening to Italians and Spaniards speaking English - sounds musical |

I have learned that it takes all kinds to make this weird and wonderful world tick - on a smaller scale it applies here too. As Blondey said - I've often wanted to answer, but kept myself in check as I've lacked the energy to get into a heated debate about issues I felt strongly about.
Some people on here will only accept their own view being supported, and if you choose to oppose it or give your own honest opinion then boy oh boy - do you get slated by the OP's. On the other hand I have learned that there are genuine, good people, slightly damaged but that unfortunately live halfway around the world - so meeting up for a cuppa is unlikey; and that people's alter ego becomes apparent when they least expect it......as for those that only spectate, I suppose I will never know.... |

It's so sad when people don't know what they have when they push others away until they're gone. And even sadder if they push them away and don't realize they've lost anything. Or possibly they always did realize, and that's their regret. Even worse when they push them away, and then they blame you for not giving them another chance. sometimes they just take others for granted and don;t mean to push them away, but that is how it is perceived and that is what happens... if someone pushes me away and then blames me for not giving them another chance, I would probably say that they had several chances (because that is how I am) and I need to make the best decision for myself as far as going or staying and that I do not appreciate their trying to deflect the blame. I've always given one the opportunity to recover and leave the door open - but once an emotional rift has occurred I cannot just pick up the pieces and start over, or continue. The bonds of friendship are built on trust and I have difficulty, after having giving someone enough chances, of being there again to get hurt and used as a doormat. 'Forgive and forget' doesn't also cut it - in my experience time, reflection and healing has. I know we all make mistakes, but running after someone? No, I think I deserve better than that, and as sweetestgirl11 said, I do not appreciate being blamed for someone else's shortcomings or short-sightedness. |

Might as well be like this for a 1st date, that way she can drink her coffee quickly and leave sooner when she sees I'm not what she had in mind for a date... (((Scoobs))) |
