Happiness is a state of mind To be content is to be happy Someone always has it worse than you (cliche) God has all the answers An exception to a concept is everything no matter how rediculous Deserve means entitled That one girl has a crush on Mark well Ill try to sleep now good convo people Ill try to bring something confrintational again to see how upset people can get and how driven people become on emotion |

and of course thier are exceptions to rules but it not good enough for a rebuddle. read my last sentence carfully what do you derive from that? also, again age is meaningless for valitaty so dont bring it up. being older doesnt mean you have more experences in life. Paris hilton is older than me should I look to her for advice on happiness?

Plainspoken here..and these people will tell you i am very well educated. But i'm going to lay this on the table. Look Man..you're only 21 y/o..most of us twice your age..As Skynrd said "i know a lil bout love, and baby i can guess the rest" You have a whole life ahead of you..me...well i'm a dinosaur..most of mine is over. Now..i don't normally post in topics like this. But you would do well to listen to some of the advice given. Please don't think these fine people are out to belittle you. They are trying to tell you things..it would be wise to hear them out. Who deserved happiness??? Deserve means hardship that you must go through to earn. So whos to say that anyone who has happiness now has ever gone through enough hardship to deserve it? Beautiful people are born with good looks. Catered all thier lives with women or men based on physical apperance even with a lack luster personality. Do they go through any hardships to deserve anything. Maybe Im a little drunk but the stance still holds true. Thier is no real happiness to those who truly deserve it. jeeeez whys someone bring something to the table that brings some conflict and everyone crucifies him. Whos to say that I mean that I deserve him please read some of my replies before you go for my throat |

Grasshopper was not meant in an age condescending manner...it's a wisdom thing... I used to feel the same way...ripped off, everyone else has it so good, and I have to do it so tough. I had to change my oulook, to change my life. I had, and have it just perfect, for me. Age is irrelevant, attitude is everything. you just hit the nail on the head attitude aka self perception on the same reality. hmmmmmm can you force yourself to have a positive attitude? negative in...negative out positive in...positive out

ok ok ok i think people lost track to what i was trying to bring up. First off appreciation of what you have does fall under the catagory of contention. I think Im trying to stress happiness in a sence that its like tunnel vision where it forces upon you a positive attitude without work and to those who achive this usually dont deserve it.
Please try not to judge me and my contention of my life on this I simply want to understand this.. |

My Daddy told me... "Happiness is a state of mind". It is. Until you can be happy with yourself..then you can't be happy with someone else. Why subject what you supposedly love..or want to love, with your own insecurities? Not meaning that in a smart azz way..but that is indeed reality, imho. Yes, if one is never satisfied, and always "searching" for something bigger or better, they will and can never be truly happy. Time and experience makes one learn what they can achieve different levels of contentment with, and strive for higher happiness with what really matters. your comment is redudant you said if you strive for more you cant be happy but experences make you strive for more? |

its funny, Im not actually miserable I simply want to experence the world, this was just a block on my path. It interesting to see how people become defensive on this subject. Yet sigh again seeing how the only argument against this is the world is good you should stop being sad blah blah. Give me something good to combat this I would appreciate it. try an anti depressant, and stay off the alcohol. again im not sad in any way, just curious on human perception on happiness |

try try try try and gaining experence. you would think you would learn to either give up or be content.
