Rush got what he deserved. He is very anoying and devisive and makes rude comments. As far as JayZ goes not a fan of his music not sure as a person. Rush is a nut job so anytime he is put down is fine by me. Wow, that wasn't helpful. Do we know for a fact that he does something illegal in the dominican republic? I don't particularly want to think about Rush in relation to viagra. lol INCIDENCE AND NATURE OF CHILD LABOR - There are reports that women and children are trafficked to, from, and within the Dominican Republic, particularly for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation. There are also reports that poor children are trafficked internally to work as domestics. Haitian children are reportedly trafficked to the Dominican Republic to work as prostitutes, shoe shiners, street vendors, in agriculture, and to beg in the streets. There are also reports that young Dominican girls are trafficked to Haiti to work as prostitutes. http://gvnet.com/humantrafficking/DominicanRepublic.htm Well I cant imagine why a wealthy man like Rush would wish to go to one of the poorest countries on the planet with a suitcase full of Viagra can you? Ok Ill admit its speculation but it is based on logical thinking. Well it's pretty cheap for someone with his money over there, he'd be treated like a god, which he probably doesnt'mind at all. I heard some parts of Jamaca is beautiful and vacationing there used to be a hot thing back a decade or two ago. Again the idea of him with a suitcase full of viagra gross's me out so bad I have trouble getting past it.. ok i'm kidding. With all his drug related problems I imagine he has problems sexually. Don't really want to make fun of that. Or hell maybe ... never mind, I really have no clue, and you don't have any proof right? So this is probably wasted chit chat.. lol Do you think he has something to do with trafficked kids? Even as much as I dislike the guy I can't see that, or just wouldn't want to. |

thanks for the lesson in "I know you are but what am I?" debating style now somebody repoprt this thread cause I'm fixing to tell him what a bombastic pedagogic jerk off azzhole this guys is No body should turn anyone in. Some times poeple just need to work things out as I posted earlier. We gals spoke out when we felt another poster was being a bully and condesending. We shouldn't have to just sit and take that. But we are also adults, we should be able to get a little hot under the collar and still work it out in the end. If not then we just move on. I hate it when a thread is pulled, no one learns anything from that either, though I certainly can't stop it from being pulled. I didn't see him as being condesending, she was ignoring what he said that she was taking the quote out of context and he proved it and she kept posting the same little snipit of the entire remark Rush made. You can take little snipits of a lot of peoples remarks and spin how you want to. It happens to Obama and when it does I bet those of you on here who support him would be the first to jump in and defend Obama. I would expect that you would see it that way though, TJ. If he thought she was taking it out of context why didn't he just leave it well enough along and ignore it. Instead he had to push his point and make her look stupid by his posting definitions. You guys aught to know by now what words men use on women that infuriate them. Like telling a woman she should calm down. You say that in my house and you better look over your shoulder.. lmao. She did not believe it was taken out of context, so what? He needed to prove his point and was doing it in a condescending way. You didn't pick up on that? I did. Still, in the end no ones mind was changed on this one and considering Rush isn't going to change any time soon..... You can't defend Rush to people that find him rude and insensitive and inflammatory, he's done it way to much. You can't take one sentance out of a paragraph and come to a conclusion of what the paragraph means. Thats called taking something out of context. Thats what she was doing. Sorry TJ, I am just not going to make this an argument between you and me about context. I don't much care about the quotes, I only care about the things I actually hear him say. I hate when guys are condesending to women, and believe me I grew up with all guys I know how they interact with women, especially in a heated topic. I will butt in on that, can't help it, because generally guys either pretend it doesn't happen or they say nothing. |

Excuse me, but this entire topic is so irrelevant and has absolutely pointless to argue over Rush Limbaugh or the NFL or what they have or not have in common, I'm just amazed how popular it is and able to go on for so long. Rush Limbaugh = a radio host NFL = National Football League Ok, maybe I'm just weird and different, I can't figure out what's the significance.. alright..carry on..ignore my comment. Love that photo.. I think it's just more venting than a conversation at this point. Some think Rush is the best, others find him repulsive. I fall on the side of repulsive. Can't say i even understand the NFL deal. |

its kind of amusing to me that the people in here that hate him the most sound just like him You said you never heard him? Seriously you should really listen to him some time. He can't even say something nice about someone with out saying something mean and sarcastic in the same sentence. I'd have no problem with him if it were not for his delivery. I dont' much care what his political views are, we are all used to people having different views on the government, but it's just his bedside manner so to speak. |

Actually that is not nessessarily true. Especialy when even you do not know what was in his mind when he said it. I have neighbors that are racist and admit it, yet they act respectfully around blacks they work with and socialize with at church, but they are still racist.
I find this kind of contradictory. You call Rush a racist. But then you say "you don't know what was in his mind when he said it" So apperently you know what was in his mind in order to determine he is a racist. I hope the hell that isn't what I said at all. I mean that we don't know absolutely whether he is or he is not a racist. Racists that I know personally often hide the fact that they are, and also some have social friends that are black, but yet you catch them unguarded moment and they spout some pretty racist remarks that you'd have to be deaf not to notice. Spider doesnt' know what was in Rush's head when he made his remarks, nor do I. So that is what I say I don't know for a fact if he is or not, but if one sounds racist your going to get a backlash anyway. Geezuz, Now I am paranoid about not being clear.. lol I don't know why he would even take a chance on being misinterpreted in a racist way, but then maybe money has a lot to do with it. I am sure you don't think Rush's audience doesn't have any racists in it. He knows what appeals to different segments of his audience, but is careful not to go too far. Though I think he's stupid to go as far as he does. |

He was found hiding in a box in the attic. Hmmm wondering if he was hiding because he thought he would be in trouble for maybe letting the balloon get away.
Just glad hes ok. Geez one news channel says in the garage another says the attic.. ugh |

Nah, you don't get it.. This is like a eco-maniac civil war One group of tree huggers at odds with a group of animal rights looney toons. too funny!! I'm responding to the part below this comment: (I'm not responding about tree huggers or animal rights people) When citizens are irresponsible with pets, the pets are the ones that suffer the most. Just like here in my town were it's over run with dogs and cats. And only a few of us who were not responsible for thier homelessness end up caring for them, fixing them and finding them homes. <==================> Every year, the city of Stockholm kills off thousands of rabbits in an effort to protect trees and shrubbery in the city’s extensive network of parks and green space. According to Tommy Tuvunger with the Stockholm Traffic Office, the agency responsible for controlling the city’s rodent and wild animal population, part of the problem rests with delinquent pet owners who decide to release their rabbits into the city’s parks. “Many of the released rabbits are tame,” he told the newspaper. Animal control authorities employ a special rifle to shoot the excess rabbits, with most of the culling taking place at dawn when the animals peek out from their holes. The city usually steps up its rabbit hunting efforts in the autumn as leaves begin to fall from bushes and trees, making it easier to see the rabbits. Tuvunger explained that it doesn’t take many newly released rabbits to do what rabbits are known for doing, much to the detriment of Stockholm’s efforts to control the size of its rabbit population. “People who think that the bunnies are cute and cuddly suddenly don’t think they’re as fun anymore and put the animals outside. They think: ‘there they can play with the other rabbits’,” he said. |

Every quote you have posted was said WITHIN context. By posting them individually, you have taken them OUT of context. When Rush said "Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it." , he was talking about behavior, not skin color. I think it's racist that you think only blacks belong to the Crips and Bloods. That makes you the racist, not Rush Limbaugh. Well, if that makes me a racist, then ESPN, my city hall and Mayor, the NFL and all of the people that didn't want him to buy my city's football team must be racist too. Also, my black friend that was just at my house and read Rush's comments must be racist too. I wouldn't doubt it. That or they are cowards who are too afraid to admit that what Rush said wasn't racist. If Rush really were a racist, they (and you) wouldn't need to take his statements out of context. That's an incredibly dishonest thing to do. Tell me, do you feel any shame for doing that? Do you feel shame for hounding her? Can you prove your view that hs is not racist and his words were absolutely not said with a racist slant or out and out racist? No you can't. |

After thinking some more, I have come to realize that almost everyone in this thread is a racist. If you think "Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it." is a racist statement, then you are a racist. It is racist to believe that all gang members are black. I think some people really need to examine their own hearts and try to figure out why they hold such racist stereotypes. You make a good instigator. Oh, so now pointing out blatant racism is being an instigator? No not racism, your just being condescending. And repetitive. |

Quit being a bully, Winx can see what you pasted with out changing the colors. And Rush should check out his own behavior before talking about someone elses. I wasn't being a bully. She obviously didn't read or understand the definition for context. She just kept repeating "He said what he said and has said more then I posted." Yeah, he said it. But the context made it clear it wasn't about race. If she had read the definition, I would hope that her desire to be intellectually honest would cause her to look up the quote and read it in context. But the bigger picture is that anyone who calls that quote racist, is actually showing themselves to be racist. But the bigger picture is that anyone who calls that quote racist, is actually showing themselves to be racist. Actually that is not nessessarily true. Especialy when even you do not know what was in his mind when he said it. I have neighbors that are racist and admit it, yet they act respectfully around blacks they work with and socialize with at church, but they are still racist. Rush isn't completely stupid, he knows how far he can go. But still we don't know for an absolute fact that is or is NOT racist. |

I'd have made damn sure it was tethered completely out of reach of the kids. These are small kids, one would think he would have taken more thought to securing it.
I do feel for them though, I would not want to be thinking how something I did was the cause of my kids death. I am hoping he was able to jump out before it took flight, just hoping he is not injured somewhere... ugh I would not want to be them right now. |

so it sounds like dad was making an experimental balloon and the kid snuck into it and untied to ropes sounds like just an accident and a precocious kid although I'm sure someone will try to make it all a case of child abuse I just read that the balloon landed and there was no one in it The father is a storm chaser, you'd think he would have been more cautious, not leaving any way for those kids to get in it. I don't know if it could be considered child abuse, but certainly negligence, no? I am sure they will be charge financially for the output of resources, maybe not. Just heard they participated in a reality show wife swap, though what the hell that has to do with it, unless it's a scam he's pulling. |
