From what I've seen on here; hundreds of young guys looking for "aunties" and "cougars", or "older" "experienced" women, yes I'd say porn addiction is a big problem in a lot of countries. I don't think sex education classes will solve that. Social skills education seems a better bet.

I agree, it'd be better that people learn good social skills and how to communicate in a healthy fashion. That's the biggest things that's lacking in education which means that as adults everyone's fumbling around.

Sex education is nothing more than the technical details of how intercourse works. There's no real detailed info or story-telling how feelings & love play a role. It's more the mechanics, which isn't even half the story as that's the feelings side of things. Or at least should be.
If we were taught that -that the feelings side was most important- maybe things would go better in relationships and dating for us as adults.

Another issue with sex edu is that it's given at age 12, last class of elementary school, at least over here. In a way that is smart as you educate kids -esp girls- how they could get pregnant so you could prevent that by early sex edu.
Down side of giving that age 12 is that many will be too young, not ready or 'ripe' yet to take the info & knowledge in and then it won't really stick.
And even though you were taught a basic of the mechanics, that doesn't mean you're not fumbling around when you're going to have sex for the first time.

Sex addiction is typically high in countries and among people who are very religious. This is the case in the US as well as any other country in the world, incl. so called developing countries.
Anywhere where there's high emphasis on religion you will find sky-high sales of porn and numbers of sex-addicts.
Conversely, numbers of sex-addictions, porn watching etc. are substantially lower in countries/areas where religion isn't all that important.

i knew you would come and say it better. Thanks hey
