My daughter is almost 38 weeks now! So anywhere between now and 4 weeks my granddaughter is going to be born!
It's amazing how fast that all went, phew.

She had wanted to deliver at home, but then she'd have to do that downstairs as their staircase is too awkward to be used with a gurney in case of an emergency.
And downstairs is problematic practically speaking, so she decided to deliver in hospital's delivery department.
That is still delivering with your own midwife, exactly like a home delivery, just not in your own bed.

She has had to elevate their bed nonetheless in case it goes fast and she can't make it to hospital.

Both my daughter and I feel that the baby is going to come earlier than 40 weeks, as in coming week.
Wait and see!!

I don't have to deliver, but I'm getting nervous, hihi.
