Quick question - what is it with enough said, nuff said??? This is not the first time I see this. Does that mean there I said my peace end of story because your opinion doesnt count, does it mean conversation over because your opinion doesnt count?

Or is it a fight for the last word????

If I failed to comment on something you said, please let me know what it was. You may have the last word if you wish.

Second example:
where love flows is where the fountain ends and from where purity begins and friendship starts anew. With love you obtain the only purist form of the essence of who we truly are and with pride the fall goeth before any understanding of what it be to be a man and to not love you'd never understand where the cup can be found.

No argument. The second is much more descriptive and eloquent. I'm not debating the fact that proper communication is preferred. I'm also not doubting the fact that whomever wrote the second, would get a lot more attention and respect. I'm just saying that in a free dating forum, users should be able to post, without remorse, just as I or you should.

LMFAO!!! The second one is drivel, means nothing and I made it up. It just fits in with a series of posts I often had a hard time reading. We all have the ability to post, and should, without remorse. But as our exchange with the expletives proves, it is not possible. For us, or for anyone else.

Goof let me rub you the right way with that... I got some murphy's around here... lemme go find it...

Nice drivel. Enough said.

Well, I'm not offended. You have a right to say what you will. The fact that you felt a need to come back at me proves my point. I was only stating a view opposite to yours.

Ohhh so I can disagree but post to you if it seems contentious? This is a discussion forum and the issue here is exactly that. We can all have opinions. I disagreed with you and you took it personally. I take nothing here personally. Mostly because you are a stranger....

I merely used your own words, it was hardly personal. What point did you prove? Hypocrisy lives?

You stated that you used my words back at me. I still am not offended and have taken nothing personally. You still have every right to say what you want.

Example:
the people are being firced out of bufetts. They be fat. Go to youtub and vew me my vedo moves. I think feminists hev a big gapping hole where they heads be and it stinky.

Neither of these are exaggerations.

I'm no scholar, but sometimes you just have to say FU*K it!!!

Hmmm. I say if someone can't say what they really mean on a discussion forum where the only means of communication is the written word, they should say fvck it and stay out of the forums.

Wow. Perhaps that is why we see the same people posting in the forums.

Notice how offended you got when I used your own phrasing right back at you?

Yes, but aren't you holding the others to the same level of communication you posses? Is that fair? Is it required to have an opinion? That's my only point.

Absolutely. It is completely fair.

If someone can't communicate on the same level as me here, why on Earth would I think that they could communicate on my level in real life?

That doesn't mean that it's a requirement to have an opinion. What it does mean is that it IS a requirement to catch my attention.

Exactly. Not your type, which is fine. But who are you or I to judge whether they should be posting on an open public forum or not. Most of the time they are crucified. It is no wonder they chose not to post anymore. They are just people looking for a date. Whether they can spell, or articulate themselves well does not diminish their status as human, or as having a right to post on a dating site.

I agree there is a need to articulate. However, isn't the general idea of a forum to exchange ideas and opinions? Granted that some are less articulate than others and need to be asked for more clarification, but that's the purpose, right? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of their handle on grammar. A forum should be a place where anyone can go and give an opinion. If someone says "all men" and doesn't really mean it, it will surface with more discussion and questioning. To dismiss someone's opinion out of hat because of their grammar is a little judgmental, don't you think? If the need for perfect grammar is essential to have an opinion, then I would suggest the perfect grammar individuals start their own forum where they can exchange views. We have the ability to tell people when we think they are off base. Using anger, or terse words in opposition is the foundation for much of the resentment found in these threads.

I'm no scholar, but sometimes you just have to say FU*K it!!!

Lighten up everyone!!!! We're here to find dates, not prove our intelligence!!!

You seem intelligent enough to be able to inquire when in need of clarification. That's all. Not everyone can lay it down on paper.

Hmmm. I say... say what you mean to say how you mean it. Articulation and effective communication are key.

The difference between "you biotch" and "you are acting like biotch" are huge. The same goes for saying all men/women versus some men/women.... or my favorite, there exist some men/women who....

We, as readers, should read a clear and concise message. If the writer didn't write it that way, it's not our problem. As I always say, write for the reader and not yourself. If you want to write for yourself, the way I see it, go buy a journal. Spare the readers the hassle.

Likes and dislikes in kissing are subjective. I'm sure some women like to kiss wearing plastic and some guys come complete with a drool bucket.

I don't think it has to do necessarily with personality. They say that dogs and their owners begin to look alike over time. Doesn't mean they are alike.
