you are in an internet forum of communication to other adults that have joined for the purpose of getting to know others why would you be here if you were not going to communicate too...???????????????????? There are as many reasons for this as there are people here. It is not necessarily rude or unfriendly. If I find myself feeling offended by a relative strangers behavior toward me? I get to assume the lions share of responsibility for that. Especially if I am offended simply because they fail to do what I expected. The best way around these feelings? Should I find them creeping into my psyche.. Grow a thicker skin. Realize that not everything is about me. Reconsider my approach. Quit feeling sorry for myself as soon as possible, but while having my little pity party.. make it a private one. Wow, that was a Dr Phil-esque moment right there, I think I need a fat bald man to hug! |

I always e-mail people back. It's women that send me the e-mails. Sometimes after an exchange or two though, they drop off. I figure it's a sign that they're not interested and as there's other fish in the sea and other folks that I think are interested, I just let the ones that don't reply slide. Sometimes people who don't reply are not replying because they're ill, off line, lost their connection or whatever. I had one person not respond and come back a week later and said she was ill, so there's all sorts of reason. And besides, we're not rude, we're American!
