 Is it THAT boring??? 
It keeps away the ones I want to keep away.  and saves me time. My mail used to be way too full to answer... made a long profile and just keep adding to it and everyone runs screaming and wiping the blood from their eyes and doesn't bother to email me with "hey" or "whatcha lookin' for" and crap like that.
Sorry if your eyes got hurt.
