It WILL get better. I’ve been in the place you’re in right now and I’m testament that you can come out the other side. Take time to heal first……most important! You are a very kind person delightfulillusion. I don't want to sound like a whiner (although I guess I already do) but time is not a luxury I have any more. I know the drill... heal, start over, rebuild... This time, I'm afraid, there is no time for that. |

Loneliness is a killer. Trying to cope with it when one has nobody to share with is a lost cause. Especially when one is an introvert, hermit. I thought that a virtual/online friendship/relationship with someone could be the answer... Sharing to me means discussing and exchanging ideas, teasing each other, joking, crying with each other, enjoying "Oh Fortuna" or a touching love song together. It means sharing joys and sorrows. It means companionship... I'm looking for someone to say Good Morning in the morning and Good Night at night for I have none. I won't show you a picture of myself because probably it'll make you run away. But if you are brave enough let me make you laugh, discuss with me Jonathan Livingston Seagull, cry with me watching the Love Story, share with me the simple things you like... Talk to me even if it's a simple hello.... Thank you for the clarification. Maybe I was wrong. When I tried to post earlier I received a message that only members with an avatar are allowed to post. I'll try again. The picture I uploaded was not of my face but of the sun rising above the earth. I guess it doesn't comply with the site's photo policy. Thanks again. You can see our photo guidelines in the Edit Photos section as they are shown each time you upload pics. Yes, you’re right…..a landscape pic won’t be accepted as YOU have to be in the pic with your face clearly shown. It’s not compulsory to have a profile pic as many are not comfortable uploading their pics. Just be yourself 
Why would I want to scare people away with my profile pic? :p There's no gain if one is being fake, so.... |

Oh and my father taught me that beauty is only skin deep, it’s the person inside that matters and that’s where true beauty can be found.

Introverts/hermits like myself still need company. Even if that company is virtual/online. I can share with somebody what makes them happy, what makes them sad, whether they like a beautiful sunset, or how "Oh Fortuna" makes them feel, without being in the same room with her.
Emotions don't pay attention to distance. Exchanging ideas and sharing joys and sorrows don't pay attention to distance. Falling in love with someone because of who she is and not because of how she looks makes distance meaningless. But then... who am I to go against the flow.... |
