I've thought that too. It does seem a lot more difficult. I think really that our world and the scope has just gotten so much bigger than it was when we were younger. Communication is no longer limited to those in our immediate vicinity. The internet has expanded our worlds so much that it's overwhelming trying to filter through it all and narrow your world back down to those two people.

As for turning back time...you couldn't pay me enough to go back to my teen years. The only thing I'd take back from that time would be those things that gravity has been particularly evil to over the years.

I made much more money than my ex did however I don't believe the actual dollar figure was an issue. The issue was a lack of drive and willingness to grow. If a person is in a dead-end job with absolutely no intention of trying to better themselves (and miserable in that job to boot) then the negativity can fester and eventually turn to resentment for both parties.

For me, anytime there is a physical connection, an emotional one develops. I can't believe that my mind would allow me to have a sexual relationship where some feelings weren't involved.

Frustrated and really worried.

Wtf? My puppy (and by puppy I mean my 70 lb. puppy) wakes up vomiting blood and they want me to wait until 3:00 this afternoon to bring him in to the vet!! If my kid (the non-furry one) was throwing up blood they'd have him in the ER!!

My Aussie boy Murphy woke up this morning throwing up bright red blood. The vet doesn't open for another 2 hours. He's lethargic and obviously in pain.

We're headed to the vet as soon as they open but please keep him in your prayers. He's just like one of my kids. He's been there for me through all the crap this past year and the thought of losing him tears my heart out.
