And no, Lilith, I am not ADD. laugh I am just too impatient.

It is rare adults carry such a DX into adulthood....

But I gotcha, that was very cute and I smiled. I'm impatient myself!
Your comment made me laugh, cause I have thought the same thing. I won't belittle those with real mental issues, but I truly believe the medical professionals have a knack for over processing these things. Seems like almost everyone has something now. JMO

Magicdave, I would highly recommend reading the Koran yourself before passing judgment on an entire religion. The fact that you are willing to pass this garbage is testament that you have not, as it's teachings and the moral fabric with which it is written in no way reflect the extremest religion that is so unveiled in our media fascination. Media is a highly ineffective educational resource. IMO flowerforyou

Come on, that would require learning skills and deductive reasoning skills, and that's just no fun now is it? It's easier to stay ignorant and believe what people tell you then to do actual research on your own...
Research? What research? It's a fascinating read! Why it is not on every bookshelf is beyond me!

Because it says that Obama is a Muslim.noway
I wouldn't mind if he WAS a Muslim in good standing...but don't believe that he is based on his family as well as his own (easily enough to confirm) history.

Unfortunately, Winx, the only vote Obama will be getting from me is for Author of the year. In that arena he has my full support. flowerforyou

That's okay. I just don't like the lies and then that's the reason they use to not vote for him. Sheesh. Get the facts and look at the issues. He's not Muslim.

Also, I have Muslims in my neighborhood and my child has had Muslim doctors. They have been so nice.
It amazes me what people will believe without proof if they want to believe it. I think that if you're not voting on any sound premise...please don't vote at ALL! frustrated

If I fell in love with someone with a mental condition, then I would figure it out I suppose. If their condition were too advanced that it hampered their communication in some way, I would probably not have the patience to find out if I were attracted to them in the first place though.

And no, Lilith, I am not ADD. laugh I am just too impatient.

This joke does not pertain to the Missouri city and county people. Only the country folks.bigsmile
True...Me thinks someone has been to the Ozarks Winx. laugh

I've only known a few Ozark hillbillies with that vernacular, but there are few left since they done gone and commercialized them thar hills. laugh

I think the key thing you said that jumped out at me was the connection. When that is there, you can not under estimate the power of that. We don't find that every day and some don't ever find it. If you're fortunate to find that, see it through no matter how long it takes. My guess would be it would not be a decision you'd regret! flowerforyou
No, I will never regret waiting. flowerforyou Connection is everything and love is soooo worth it. love
There is no doubt in my mind...or heart. happy

You all have dirty minds!!!

Seriously...how long would you wait for someone who can't meet you for a while?

This is assuming you're clicking online and on the phone and feel a deep connection with them.
Put yourself in a relationship where you can just jump right into it, and then end it in 6 months while its going good. Do that every six months for the rest of your life.
I think you have been dating some of my friends. noway
Cant go wrong:wink: All this, love at first sight, special someone, soul mate, share the rest of my life you,.......etcill ill ill ill ill ill ill ill
wow I feel sorry for you!!!!
to go through life believing that is really sad!!!!
to say it is even worse, because anyone that may have been interested in you.........now isn't!!
All Alonetears Nobody Loves Metears tears tears tears
no worries....6 months left hand, 6 months right hand......etc ,etc!!!
Baby!!! Now you sound like someone who's been dating some of my GUY friends! laugh

Depends on how you feel. Also the trust issue. How well do you really know this person? The reason that you have not meet might have to do with the fact the person already has a life. Or trust them and wait for everything to fall into place. Sometimes good things get better over time.
The meeting issue is because we both have a life. laugh I travel too much with work is the biggest issue though. If he really has a wife on the side, she should have divorced him by now for all the time he spends on the phone with his girlfriend. laugh

Who said anything about that? What about just someone you're compatible with and share so much in common with that you just click well enough, you know you can have something special with them? What's wrong with that?
