rite folks lets go and find our chums..im not wasting anymore time here.i know what i wrote and said and it was all good.i praised jsh for being the best run site ever and how great it was.i purely mentioned it would be good to have a chat room.i didnt say it was for perving etc. its just nice to talk privately sometimes with a friend with out ears listening in. we could then use mics and cams...i wud love to see and hear all my friends on here.thats all i wanted to say..good bye

Pretty much constantly, assuming I can actually decipher the butchered third-grade English well enough to even comprehend what's attempting (usually unsuccessfully) to be said.

On the other hand, I suppose it's not that difficult to decode "I'm bored" even when both words are misspelled.

As for chatrooms -- Mike and VC have consistently said that the problem is in the monitoring. I've been on sites that use chatrooms, and all I've seen is 30 people all parroting "asl?" every time someone new comes in, and endlessly stepping all over each other's occasional stabs at a real subject. Chaos and stupidity don't suddenly become more palatable just because someone tosses out the words "chat room."

If they ever do add chat rooms here, I won't be using them. I'm perfectly comfortable dealing with illiteracy one post at a time -- I don't need a room where people are tossing it at me from every direction.

I've seen chat rooms on other sites...Most the time they are dead anyways...so whats the point?

So based on a few lines of text on your screen you can make an entire judgment call on me and my life??


And jen I don't understand your point whatsoever. How is a chat room any more private than these forums?? Unless you're talking about making private invite-only chat rooms. The server resources that would take would make the whole concept cost prohibitive.

WWS there's nothing "outrageous" about the thoughts in my head. They certainly would not fit the PC environment here though which would result in the bans I mentioned.

As far as "offending" anyone I've often stated I believe in an "anything goes" policy. If you want to make all kinds of nasty snide remarks about another person by all means go ahead. All you're doing is displaying to the world your own level of character. If I can't handle some stranger who hardly knows me saying "mean things" about me perhaps I shouldn't be wondering around unsupervised.
