I don't consider myself as Bubba's owner. I don't own him, he chooses to be with me. He has every chance to leave quite often, like when I go camping in the mountains. I do NOT tie him up, he is just as free as I am. He wants to be with me.

Hey all, long time no see.

I used to drive a truck, I was going across I-70 in Missouri. The truck in front of me blew a right front tire, he hit the embankment at about 70mph. To make a gruesome story short, I watched him burn to death and there was nothing I could do to save him. After fire and rescue got the situation under control and the police questioned all the witnesses, I was headed to my truck. The trooper that questioned me on scene stopped me and asked me if I was OK to drive, I told him I was, he didn't believe me. What he said next blew my mind........

"Driver, legally you are free to go, There is nothing I can do to stop you, but I fell that after what you saw you are not emotionally able to drive at this point . I would like you to stick around and talk to me and calm down, I got all day so talk to me. Please, for me".

I talked to this trooper for quite a while about all kinds of things, he didn't mention the accident once or anything about law enforcement. Then he says......

"I now feel that you can drive safe, Thank you for talking to me to calm yourself down, even though you didn't have to stay. Please drive safe and here's my card, if you need to talk again, do not hesitate to call. Drive safe".

I went to shake his hand and he give me a hug and thanked me again. I thanked him for the support and talking.
