I love The League Of Gentlemen!

"Hello Dave!"

Never seen Mumsy but heard of it! I must admit, us Brits have created some brilliant horror films, especially Hammer, as you mentioned. But I think America has to be the best place that introduced me to horror! I grew up watching Universal's golden age of horror films, like The Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein, The Mummy, the list goes on!

The Phantom of the Opera and Bride Of Frankenstein are two of my favourite horror films and all-time favourite films!

Nice to see someone that appreciates my countries roots! The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Queen are three of my favourite all-time bands! I'm a big fan of our Britpop scene from the 90s and our current Indie bands!

The Cottage! I love that film, got some really dark humour in it. If you liked that film Torgo I recommend you watch a television series called 'The League Of Gentlemen' if your not already familiar with it. That's really good!

Tormented is brilliant! Although some American's can't seem to understand the English accents in it!

It's good to have a decent music taste, quite a lot of people don't. Many people my age (teens/young adults) wont give any old music a chance, they prefer to listen to the charts, whereas I prefer listening to the history of music! Can't beat a bit of The Beatles and Queen! Mostly English bands, but we did create some of the best music in history! ;)

Just watched an English horror film called Tormented. It was really good if you appreciate a good slasher movie! I loved it, and being English, appreciated the humour. I'm sure all you American's could give it a go!

I'm not just saying 'all you Americans' but I haven't spoken to a single English person on this site yet! haha

I'm only 18, so got my life ahead of me! But I was just wondering if there are any girls/women that find me attractive? May be a silly question but i've been pushed away by girls in the past and it's made me think a bit.

Thanks Minglers! :) x

I think Dave Grusin's score for The Goonies is exceptional! I'm one of the lucky few hundred to hold a copy of the official score soundtrack, can't believe it hasn't been released in stores!

Sleepaway Camp has a badass soundtrack! haha

My one has to be Phoebe Cates, oh yeah! I'm only 18 so wouldn't have seen her when most of the films she was in were released, but I grew up loving the Gremlins films and she was so gorgeous in them! Still looking great in her 40s now I do believe :)

Howard The Duck? I've still not seen that box office bomb. Is it any good? I know it's received a bit of a cult following.

I'm a media student myself, and I love discussing and writing about movies, and this is my first movie post on this site. Now, to gather lots of different opinions, which film and what scene would you say is the sexiest of all time in the history of film?

There are so many, like Bong girls, Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, the list goes on! My personal choice would have to be Phoebe Cates in Fast Times At Ridgement High. The scene where she's strips off her red bikini is just so iconic, and Phoebe is a total babe! :D

Both films now you ask :) I'm an 18 year old media student, films are one of my biggest passions. Seen quite a few in my young life, Caligula was one of the controversial ones, so once I turned 18, I treated myself to the new 4-disc edition, I had not seen it before, woah...

I must admit the sex scenes were pretty good! :) Which version have you seen, because i've got a 4 disc set with lots of different versions. The uncut one is way better! The lesbian scene is one of my favourites, what about your's? :)
