If people are trying to be deceptive they will always find a way.

I tell everyone straight up, I am old, fat & ugly.

Like I said on the thread I started

http://mingle2.com/topic/show/193389

it is not about being shallow. It is about a comfort level

I didn't say anything about being shallow, but since you brought it up I think many people here are. That's just my opinion, & I am sure it matters less to them than their's does to me. But that's OK because they need love too, & I think there's someone for everyone.

I saw your thread & I appreciate your feelings. I figured there was no need for me to post there, I didn't want to seem to be argumentitive about what I see as a trivial personal choice. My comfort level is better served by not having a picture. I did have a picture up once & I did not like the e mails I got because of it.

My post that you quoted here was just to explain that my lack of a picture does not mean I am trying to decieve anyone,& many people that have posted pictures are being deceptive. Liars will simple tell more lies to cover the original one.

Snow is piling up outside
I sip tea and type
Will I find my love by spring?

NICE!

TY but I did it wrong it's supposed to be 5, 7, 5 & that one is 7,5, 7.

Concentrated on the words,
forgot the meter
I wrote dyslexic haiku

My finances are noones business, until such time as we become exclusive. At that point...nothing but HONESTY. I would give nothing less than I would ask. If there is a problem at that point, we would communicate as to how to proceed.
Life and Love aint about the finances. But it is about responsibility.

At one saddleseat barn I saw 3 men squealing & climbing the walls to get away from a harmless snake that was brought in with the hay. Of course this get the horses going & it was chaos until I got a manure fork & took the poor creature to the edge of the woods.

Horses......

We've had many over our lives.... thoroughbreds... arabs...quarter horses.... brumbies...stock horses....mountain ponies..

Having done trackwork with racehorses, mustering cattle on a 3000km drove, eventing, showing pony club, dressage, barrel'sporting, endurance riding...

I could honestly say horses are a part of our lives.

We currently have a little chesnut egyptian arab galloway gelding, (it's my youngest daughter's pony)

My daughter's first "pony" was a Chestnut Crabbetbred Arab mare. She was pure Arab, but only 13.3.

Anyone own/like horses? I own a horse-her name is Honey.she's an older horse-she used to run barrels in 4-H.I run barrels with Honey.

I had some in France, their meat is lovely in a little red wine sauce. Bon appetit!

Actually I have no problem with eating horses that are raised for meat, but you may be eating a racehorse that was drugged & wormed with stuff you don't want to ingest. Horsemeat if it is to be eaten needs to be regulated as food.

Bon Appetite!sick

Pig meat / beef / chicken contains antibiotics, growth hormones, dioxins and other assorted stuffs that you wouldn't want to ingest normally. And these ARE regulated noway

True, but horsemeat is even worse. I wormed my horses every other month with stuff clearly labeled "not to be used in animals intended for human consumption". Horses that go to auction and bought for meat could have come from anywhere & been treated with anything. There's no way to know.

If you want to disscuss this may I suggest starting another thread? It's a valid topic, but rude to be bringing it up here.

yikes

that was big

sorry

Nice picture thanks for sharing it.

My dream horse is a warmblood. I thought i'd want a Hanoverian or Swedish, but recently I have been reading up on Cleveland Bays. They are a rare coach breed, but seem to be well suited for dressage & jumping as well. I like the idea of helping to save a breed that in danger of excinction.

Quiet that's great! I have watched TBs off the track being retrained as hunters & dressage horses. It takes patience to help them work on flexing to the right & getting them to pick up the right lead. Some people at the track even clean all 4 hooves from the left side, looks awkward to me, but they say it saves time.

I have a friend that has a retired Standardbred that she now uses for jousting. He came from a rescue that broke him to saddle before he was adopted.
