Maybe you could find some big brother type guy who's been there and done that (like at a meeting somewhere) who would be willing to talk to him. Somebody that had compassion for where your son is in life. Sounds like peer pressure is getting him bigtime.

Edit to say: the good thing is he is talking to you about it. Sounds like you two have a good relationship.

Ummmm mom, you better re-think this. If he is selling it then he is either growing it or is getting it from a chain higher up. The higher up you go, the more criminal it gets. Those guys don't give a **** if your son gets busted. I would do some serious research and show him just exactly how all this can screw up his life. Depending on how much dope he is dealing, it could be a pretty hefty sentence. I hope for your sake you can get him to see the light before someone else does it for him.

I have to go back tomorrow too, but I'm almost looking forward to it. Had some great disappointments over the weekend, but this too shall pass. I think it will be better getting back into a routine.

I bought myself a tie dye hoodie. My christmas presents were all things for the house, so I splurged a little for something to wear.

There are some male colognes that will make me do things I hadn't intended to...... I use to love Drakkar (spelling?) Noir.

I'm supposed to be preparing food right now for our little party, and as usual I'm procrastinating...... Got my tree down and took all the cardboard stuff to the recycle place so at least I got a few things done.

I learned pretty early on that internet friends are just not the same as someone you actually go out and do things with. Even those friends can hurt you, but at least you can hunt them down and shout at them..... Kidding!

I used to have several (what I thought) were really really good internet friends until some hardships happened in my life and they were basically non-existent. Now I proceed with caution and rarely ever feel that true friendship feeling with someone I haven't met.

Red flags,IMO, regarding internet friends are those that when given a chance, do not take your friendship farther. For example, someone who has the opportunity to meet up with you (without too much fuss or money) and they continually come up with reasons why they cannot. That basically proves to me that the friendship is not worth much to them. As I said, that's only my opinion.

Laundry and straightening up the house. Then preparing food for a little New Year's Eve party we are having. Get to bring in the new year with some of my favorite people! I think this is going to be a good year!

Nicole, we had a similar problem yesterday. My kiddo went in for her yearly MRI and they gave her max sedation but she kept waking up. They did end up getting the brain images, but were unable to get the spine. They told me next time she will have to do general anesthesia. I have requested we bump to every 2 years now since she will get much more medication and I would think the risks are higher. She came home soooooooo irritable and then slept for 12 hours straight after I got her settled down. I hope you get some answers.....
