I got my Mom a sitting chicken. It had legs she could pose!!! Hey, she collects chicken figurines what can I say. I've been making them smaller all the time for the sake of my step-dad's sanity. She's already got it though... I dropped in the mail in the morning, she got it the next day, I didn't even send it express thinking she'd get it on Saturday. She liked the card more than the chicken though. I'd forgotten to get the card when I was packing the bird up to shipped (ceramic head), so I made one on the computer quickly (forgot to sign it) and stuck it in. I printed "Son brand Cards, when you forget to go to Hallmark" on the back of it. She called and told me it brought back memories of when we used to make them for her as kids. I love roosters!! I collect them for my kitchen 
It's nice to know my Mom's not the only one, I'll tell dad she's not crazy!! LOL!!! Anything I see rooster, I will buy it, My mom is the same waht to. |

:( I poor, so I just went and bought a bunch of cards for the moms and grandmas, I had the kids sign their own names to the grandma cards. my parents anniversary is tomorrow too, so i'm gonna try to work out a dinner for them that i'll make myself, now the trick is finding a date where we all are available. IT's the thought that counts. |

my daughter and I bought her some candles( a scent she probably wont like but I can never guess her) but my daughter is going to bake her a German Chocolate Cake from scratch so she will be soooooooo super happy. my mom has everythingx2-3 so we go simple these days. plus she loves to see the kids cooking and her kitchen in a mess.(she said thats what it is used for and it can be cleaned up afterwards.) Goodies from the grandkids are the best

My son is in the Air Force. He came home yesterday from overseas. That is the best mothers day present I could ask for this year!! awwww that is so wonderful, so glad you got to see him

just told me what he got me for Mother's Day, he's 4!! He and my mom went the other day and he picked out some things for me. I told him that he will be able to show me on Sunday!! But he chose to shout it out

I have a box of cards that I found with old hand made cards from when I was a kid...I've been sending one back to her each year with a little note stuffed inside. She loves it...she's very sentimental about our childhoods.

I have a mother that is always right no matter what.......can be annoying at time, but its true, my mom knows everything.
Same with my mom, she knows it all. And she is NEVER wrong  I see now where I inherit it from
