How do you react...

SH!T LONGHAIR!!! Thanks Pjinkys, but my parents don't know how to communicate with me. I tell em I understand, but they argue with me about everything in my life. And hey, I really don't have much of a life right now, because they interfere in every bit of it. I do understand..respect has allot to do with it just like LHB said. They still see you as their little boy and don't know how to respect you. Many families have this same problem. Some parents have a problem with letting go of their kids and letting them grow up and make mistakes. Believe me I've been there.. |

Image you have 2 beautiful sons. Just remember your parents wants what is best you and your kids. There have been many generations that don't understand the next. You do the best you can..they will understand oneday. Keep up the good work...tell your parents you undserstand where they are coming from and you appreciate the advice.

Marriage...

LongHairBiker there is one thing I will say...it sounds like it was a blessing you did not marry these people...they were not good enough for you. To walk away that easy...no they were not good enough. A divorce would have cost allot more than a wedding. Divorce is a very hard pill to swallow especially when kids are involved.

Marriage...

In my experience its a tradition to embarass a man. Had 2 runaway brides in my life. Won't be a third. F*ck marriage. Wish I had all that money back. More so I wish the two twits could have made their minds up before the money was spent and plans were made. I didn't see a clause in the marriage vows that said "I reserve the right to change my mind at any given moments notice and force you to accept my decision and pay all bills incurred therein for my mindless behavior". F*ck marriage. First time- shame on you. Second time- shame on me. There won't be a third time. And you wonder why I'm so selfish? Because I was led to believe in you womens fairytale bridal dreams bullsh!t twice just to get cold feet at the last minute leaving me embarrassed in front of my family and huge bills for a wedding that never happened. F*ck you runaway brides. OUCH!! |

Definition of Marriage...everyones opinion is Free of charge
Marriage is an institution in which interpersonal relationships (usually intimate and sexual) are acknowledged by the state or by religious authority. It is often viewed as a contract. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution, in accordance with marriage laws of the jurisdiction. If recognized by the state, by the religion(s) to which the parties belong or by society in general, the act of marriage changes the personal and social status of the individuals who enter into it. People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following: legal, social, and economic stability; the formation of a family unit; procreation and the education and nurturing of children; legitimizing sexual relations; public declaration of love; or to obtain citizenship.[1][2] Marriage may take many forms: for example, a union between one man and one woman as husband and wife is a monogamous heterosexual marriage; polygamy – in which a person takes more than one spouse – is common in some societies.[3] Recently, some jurisdictions[4] and denominations[5][6][7] have begun to recognize same-sex marriage, uniting people of the same sex. |
