The 7950GT is the high-end of the 7 series and is high-performance. The 8600GT is mid-range 8 series card. The 7950 will own the 8600 in DirectX9 but if you ever plan to upgrade to Vista and want to play DX10 games you'll be out of luck with the 7950GT.

Blaze1978 go here : http://download.chip.eu/ro/K-Lite-Mega-Codec-Pack-3.9.0_1013055.html
and click on " Descarca acum " and then again on " Descarca programul acum " < the page is romanian , the software in english > , it`s a codec pack , it should work on 99 % of the movies , if it doesn`t work you should save your data files and go for a clean format , i said that because VLC player works without any codec installed .

Sorry i didn`t quite understand the question ... when you listen to your pc music , plays the song number 7 and when it`s done plays the song number 15 instead of 8 ? or ... the sound is inaccurate ?

First run disk cleanup -> Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup <this is for xp but i think it`s the same path, if not go to search and type **** cleanup> , if this doesn`t work make sure you don`t have a virus that duplicates files , if you want a program that does the same thing as the **** cleanup from win and more go here --> http://www.download.com/Fast-Cleaner/3000-2248_4-10066240.html?tag=txt&cdlPid=10510198

Normally laptops are made to take the heat "as is" , depending on the model , you can buy one extra fan , if not , you shouldn`t worry , it won`t fail

moofooga , Intel® 975X Express Chipset Features:

Supports Intel® Core™2 Extreme processor, Intel® Core™2 Duo processor, Intel® Pentium® processor Extreme Edition and Intel® Pentium® D processor to deliver higher performance for games and applications. You have a Core 2 Duo processor , and you can upgrade just to Core 2 Duo Extreme <that`s overclocked>, conclusion : doesn`t worth it , have a nice day

"If I uncheck that can my network computers still use dial up? And would that stop the incessant autodialing?" RoamingOrator normally yes , but first make sure you have a antivirus and after the full scan of your pc , you don`t have any auto-dialers.

Don`t look in the internet explorer settings , in the advanced section of the properties of your isp, is it set to establish a dial up connection ?
