I recently screwed up my Vista partition and just installed another copy of Vista over it. I lost everything I had on my hard drive. I remember hearing somewhere that it might be possible to get data from a formatted drive. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this, and if there is, how would I go about doing it?

I installed Ubuntu Jaunty on my computer, but I had so many problems I wanted to get rid of it. I was dual-booting that and Vista. So instead of finding a way to uninstall it properly, I decided it would be faster to just format the partition. Grub won't load right now. I was getting an error 22, and then I did something else with my partitions and now I'm getting a 17. Do I just need to reinstall Grub? And if so, how do I go about doing that?

I don't know how I'll die, but I did have this dream once about getting thrown in a meat grinder. It felt more like a premonition than a dream though.

I play my FPS on my 360 I have never thought of playing them on my PC I think it would be kinda hard and I would die ALOT. is it like point and click to move or do you use the arrow keys like in WoW?? Same as WoW. You use the W S A D to move, mouse to aim and all the other keys for different things. Although the buttons can be configured to anything. Only problem is when something like crouch is set to control and you hit the windows key since they're so close. 
I've done it so many times.
