I've called out the past 2 days too... ive been so sick it's awful aw whats wrong? Its like I have the flu... Ive been getting sick and shaking uncontrollably hot cold flashes.... everything I hate it! yeah thats how ive been feeling for a couple of days

In my job if you miss 2 or more days of work in a row you need a doctor's note for verification. If I don't I get in trouble. And I'm not a union employee, but have been before. Most businesses have a two to three day rule that is quite similar. And legal. yeah and my point was i was too sick to go to the doctor. i dont drive and hes about 45 minutes away so it wasnt a possibility. my age has nothing to do with it thank you very much

well yeah but only if i take weeks off at a time. this is one of the only times ive called out in the 5 years ive been there. i called out for a week a few weeks ago cause of a sinus infection as well but i used all my sick days so those were allowed

i was too sick to really go anywhere and besides hes just going to tell me to rest not really a reason to throw down 100 bucks for that Well, to prevent a suspension. Depends on what it's worth. nah she cant and wouldnt cause im the only good worker she has. im the only one that shows up on time and i work any extra hours

so yeah today im seeing my union rep about this crap and im going to have my boss written up cause the union handbook says she cant threaten to suspend me under any circumstances unless i break a major rule or something
