I seen one pretty close up when I was a kid (11). It was about 30/40 feet away and about two houses high. It was motionless and silent with lots of different coloured lights around its edge. It was only there for around 5 to 10 seconds, but it WAS there! Always wondered what was in it where it came from and where it was off to, but I can only guess?? I'm nearly 50 and still haven't seen another. But seeing is believing and believe me they are there.
