I think it is you who dosent know what you are talking about. He only recently "renounced" his muslum faith to become catholic becouse of the flak he was catching. If he had nothing to hide from his past or present he would not have changed faith. Think of it this way if you are a prodastant you wouldnt change your religion just to please the people. If you want to talk about brainwashed look at obamas father. He was involved in several extreamist groups and taught the same thing to obama during his youth. Also if he is christian why was he wanting to be sworn in on a kuran and not a bible.

Have you ever listened to Al Franken? Did you know he was a Harvard grad? There are blowhards and fools on both sides, but Al Franken is not one of them. In fact, I find him to be one of the most well versed and well reasoned pundits(he's a candidate now) on either side. So don't trash him just on his past as a comedian. Ronald Reagan was an actor, remember?

I thought about moving to Canada in 2004. And it wouldn't have been hard cuz I've got frends there. But I rode it out, the country survived(although badly wounded) and in less than a year the Idiot Bush will be thankfully gone for good.

I posted the 2nd Amendment here earlier in this thread. If you read the entire Amendment, it is not so clear that citizens have an unrestricted right to guns. I am in favor of CRIME control, not necessarily GUN control. But read the entire Amendment, not just the part that says "...the right to keep and bear arms."
