See...that small fake hug thing wouldn't work for me. I was on a date about 3 months ago and at the end of the date he hugged me like someone would hug his aunt. It made me think he wasn't into me so I wasn't going to contact him again but he ended up getting in touch with me and did want to go out again. I want to feel some warmth when hugging someone I just went on a date with.

As far as the waiting game goes, if I have a good time when I go out with someone I'll usually either email or text him the next day and let him know. Whether he wants to go out again after that is up to him at that point.

My ex's friends didn't seem to think there was any kind of rule that applied because they all started calling me right after he had broken up with me. I was informed by my ex though that they were off limits to me, which I thought was ridiculous considering he had broken up with me so I was free to date whomever I wanted. I stayed away from them and didn't make any waves because we have a son together so it was just worth it to keep the peace between us.

I'm a suburban girl. I love living close enough to major cities to take advantage of the wide variety of things to do there but living far enough away that I don't have to deal with the traffic, noise and smells of the city on a regular basis.

I could never live in the deep country though - my brother used to live in the sticks in Georgia and he was 30 minutes to the nearest store. What if you forgot something and had to go back? lol And my mom used to live not to far from him and she had to drive 11 miles just to get to another road. I just couldn't deal with that.
