Still married for 27 years. Been separated almost a year. Had a great marriage until he got drunk, which was almost nightly, and then verbally abused me. Do I wish things turned out differently....YES. I was with this man longer than I was without him. It hurts to be without him, but I will never return. Marriage is a scary thing to me now. Trust is even worse. I push everyone away!

Be Selective. Don't give in. Don't fall for them too quickly. You are a beautiful girl. You should have the pick of the litter. If you are too needy you may run many of them off. It does hurt when you assume someone does you wrong, but something I learned in Church is that YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR FEELINGS. You can choose to hurt or choose not to hurt. I promise you that it works. Takes just a little bit of practice. Good Luck.

I get to work my 2nd job this weekend and everyday after my regular work week.
