I don't think coconuts float, but boobs do float  Coconut trees are found on islands all over the world. The same trees on uninhabited islands are found on beaches everywhere else. Coconuts have a very handy ability to, not only float, but stay afloat for years at a time. Coconut trees are located near the ocean, and their coconuts often fall into the water. Only when these coconuts have floated across the ocean, or just down the beach a little, and come up on solid ground will they begin their germination producing another tree.
