What promise? Both David and Solomon were Jews. Joseph his father and Mary his mother were also jews. Needless to say that Christ too was a jew and Solomon was a great, great.... grandfather of Christ. They were all of the same bloodline.

But I thought the bible was just parts of the Torah.
Which is confusing, as they don't believe in the resurrection

The Torah is the first 5 books of the bible written by Moses. It's the Torah that is part of the bible, and not the bible of the Torah. Jesus was not Jewish but a Jew meaning a descendant of Judah, who was the 4th son of Jacob. The bloodline goes from Jacob, his 12 sons and their descendants.

Jewish means to act like a Jew. The Jewish people call themselves Israeli and not Israelites. The Jewish people do make claims to be the real Jews, but history and the bible are telling a different story.

Our believes can't change the truth and what we must do is listen to what Jesus himself is saying in the bible. For he nor the Father will tell a lie.

There is no mistranslation. There are simply two Gospels.

1. The Gospel of Christ (which can be found in the holy bible).
2. The Gospel of Christianty know as the Catechism of Rome.
(the compilation of paper bulls, decrees or letters of the Popes).

Those two are completely different and will confuse you, if you
don't read them "separately" for the understanding of TRUTH.

The body will indeed return to dust but that's not the end, since the soul will return to God who gave it.

[Ecclesiastes 12:7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Our thoughts and emotions are parts of our souls and remain intact after we die. There are examples in the scriptures of reincarnation and without such, our lifes would be meaningless.

So, a woman who had not had sex, and was thus a virgin, got pregnant and had a baby, even though she had not had sex
Right. No, I don't believe that

Your right! Thats a fairy tale. Christ had an earthly father and an earthly mother.
That's why the bible names the bloodline of Christ, namely being an Israelite of the tribe of Judah.

You are right! This is one of the reasons of the great division in the Chatolic church, which occured several hundred years ago. Almost half of the catholisc didn't believe either. Those who protested were expelled from the church and were called "Protestants" because they went against Rome. The theory actually was an attempt to place Christ in a position of a super human like Hercules, who had a heavenly father and earthly mother.

I don't really read the bible
But apparently it says that somebody had a baby and that they were a virgin. I don't believe that, so I don't really believe anything else it says either, and thus wouldn't use it as guide for questions

Holy means that the bible was written for a specific group of people. But when reading scriptures we must reference the chapter and vers, if we need explanation. The word VIRGIN has a different meaning in the bible then how we use it today. A virgin was a woman who was promised to a man for marriage. She remained a virgin until after the consummation of the marriage and sexual intercourse took place or if the marriage was cancelled.

The bible is important because God gave the word and he is the only truth we have.
Let God be true, but every man a liar, as it is written in the scriptures.

At some time we have been taught christianity which is different from the bible.
NO man or woman who ever walked the earth, had no biological parents.
For conception to take place an egg must be fertilized with sperm. No exceptions here.

Death
==========
Also, when a person dies, he cannot do, speak, think. And naturally, he cannot
return to earth. He is simply in the grave, asleep in death (as Jesus Christ
said).

This is true for all people. But all prophets can hear us and we can plead with the prophets to ask God Almighty for help, sustenance and health

Christ is the only one, and thru him we can ask God for forgiveness and guidance. When a person dies, his life and business on earth is finished.

That was a conditional promise to Solomon about the bloodline extending forever, Solomon broke the conditions. Christ is from the bloodline of Nathan, adopted into Solomon. Showing the bloodline of Solomon pretty much points to him breaking the conditions on purpose. He has no idea when that promise would be fulfilled, thus no idea of the future kings behavior once he is gone, he had to allow the bloodline of Nathan to be open if needed, which it was needed. Evil needs Christ through Solomon, it would have a legitimate claim to forgiveness if Christ comes through the wicked kings that God has forbidden from producing a heir worth the throne.

What is your point??

Mother Mary is NOT an important figure in the bible. Her name is probably mentioned 12 times in the Holy Scriptures. The only important account we have of her, is the message which she received about the birth of Christ. The 2nd message, fleeing to Egypte, went to Joseph and he informed his wife.

Right, she gave birth to Jesus, but isn't really significant aside from that. Anyway, the nativity scene isn't really about "Christmas", as "Christmas" isn't a Christian holiday.

It's tradition indeed, goes back to paganism but nevertheless modern christians do celebrate Christmas.

In many countries, people consider December 25 (January 7) as the birthday of Jesus Christ and celebrate Christmas on this day.

The Bible does not indicate a specific date of birth of Jesus, but it helps to understand when it happened.

The most obvious proof that Jesus was not born on December 25th is the fact that according to the Scriptures, on the night of his birth, the shepherds grazed their flocks in the field - Luke 2: 8-12 (New World Translation).

Already in the 8th month of Bule (October-November), the rainy season began and the herds were taken to shelters for the night.

The next month, Kislev (November-December) 9 month, was cold and rainy - Jer 36:22 (New World translation).

And in the 10th month of Tevet (December-January), the lowest temperatures of the year were observed and snow fell on the highlands.

That the shepherds were in the field at night is consistent with other evidence that Jesus was born in the early fall of the 7th month of Ethanim (September-October).

In addition, it is unlikely that the Roman emperor Caesar Augustus would have ordered his Jewish subjects (who often rebelled) to go to their hometowns for a census in the cold, rainy December, when travel was especially difficult - Luke 2: 1-3 (translation of the New World ).

The conventional wisdom that Jesus was born on December 25 (January 7) is not based on the Bible. Many works of scholars and Bible students show that December 25 is a pagan holiday "the birthday of the invincible Sun."

It was Nimrod's birthday! The balls hanging on the evergreen tree, symbolize the heads of those whose refused to worship Nimrod. Christ was born on March or April during the Passover.

At the centre of each Pagan holiday we will find a Pagan God. Saturnalia (feast of Saturn) was a Roman festival, which was celebrated in the Month of December to please Saturn, the God of agriculture, during the winter solstice, and symbolized the past of the harsh winter. So, because the winter became softer and there was more sunlight in the sky, the people were glad. Nimrod used Saturnalia for his birthday celebration, because it was a happy time and near his brithday, for offerings, gifts and worship. Saturnalia was the main festivity in the times of Nimrod, and therefor the Romans kept the festival and gave it a new name, Christmas.

The Moabite too are mislead. What does a Moabite man or woman have to do with declaring the LORD'S statues? Don't they have their own Gods, and why are they betraying their Gods??

[Deut. 23:3] An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD'; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD, FOREVER, (meaning NEVER)]. They were the main enemy of God when His children were passing thru in the wilderness, to the promised land.

Some people worship false god's. There is only one true and living God.
The Creator ! God of the Bible.

Bible is unreliable. There were 100s of Bibles, until king James arrived, he took it upon himself to destroy others and left only one bible king james version. King james was gay and idiot, too many controversies in bible. It is nothing but 500 pages of pornography.

Jacob Shelton wrote; Turns Out The Original Bible Is Drastically Different From The Version You Grew Up With
To find changes in Bible verses, one simply has to find some of the most popular sections (the Ten Commandments, the immaculate birth, etc.) and compare one Bible to a different version. It’s likely that you’ll notice something different. The biggest Bible changes happen when a church branches off from its parent and tries to set out with its own identity. Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Church of Latter Day Saints, for example, have managed to add their own bible histories to the mix, making things significantly murkier than they already were.

The majority of the people who read the bible don't understand the synopsis of the 80 books that form the Holy Bible. The word HOLY means that it was not written for everybody, why many think it's a fairy tale. Unless a HOLY man teach you, how will you know?

Right, Christ will rule with a rod of Iron but nevertheless Public Enemy no. 1, has to go. So, the nations will build Christ Kingdom in these 1000 years and then the major treat will disappear, forever.

Armageddon/Har Megiddo is an actual place on Earth -the site of the ancient city of Megiddo.

The surrounding area is where the greater Earthly military powers will gather to fight each other after moving toward the holy land to settle the mid-east peace crisis by force -claim land for their own, etc.
The modern-day country of Israel (house of Judah) will be attacked full-scale by their neighbors -and the rest of the world will be drawn into the conflict as they continue to fight.

Zech 12:3 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

There will be a destruction/desolation OF the present city of JERUSALEM -called the "abomination of desolation".
Luke 21:10 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 11 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains;..........
MAtt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

At about that point, Christ will return (in power and "glory" -as the "glory" which Moses could not look upon when he saw his back parts) -and the armies gathered will turn to literally attempt to fight him.
Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them:
That is called "The great and terrible day of the Lord"

Zech 14:1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee...

Rev 11:18And the nations were angry; and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints and them that fear Thy name, small and great, and shouldest destroy them that destroy the earth.

Christ will be accompanied -perhaps somewhat preceded -by HIS army -as described in Joel 2 (not the saints which he will bring with him, but angelic forces)....

1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Zech 14:8And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
10All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. 11And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

[Luke 21:10] is referring to the Masada of 70 AD when the Roman army captured Jeruzalem, destroyed the 2nd Temple and took the Gold and riches of King Solomon.
Christ had warned his people to flee to the mountains (Egypt) where his parents fled too, when King Herod tried to kill baby Jesus. The Masada was terrible because the jews were surrounded, could not leave Jeruzalem, and had to cannibalize the death.

OK, first, we need to look at the origins of the word "Armageddon". Since we don't have the ORIGINAL writings, we have to use what we do HAVE...we have the Greek Septuagint. https://www.abarim-publications.com/Interlinear-New-Testament/Revelation/Revelation-16-parsed.html#.X8T1JVVKg2w
Revelation 16:16 gives us the only reference to the name "Armageddon"
REVELATION 16:16
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
A place, not an event. Αρμαγεδδων is the Greek word. This name can not be declined in Greek. This is common for names that are transliterated from other languages (such as Hebrew or Aramaic), but it means that its case must be derived from its context.
https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Armageddon.html

[Joel 3:2] I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

If we precept the above verse with [Isaiah 66:16] For by fire and by his sword will the LORD "PLEAD" with all flesh, and the slain of the LORD shall be many..... then the gathering of the nations will be for BATTLE.

In Rev. 19: 2 speaks of God's judgment on the great harlot.
Who is she?
This is not literally a woman.

In a symbolic sense, the word “harlot” is applied to individuals, organizations, and nations who say they worship Jehovah, but in fact worship other gods.

In Revelation, the symbolic harlot is depicted sitting on a crimson beast. She has the name Babylon the Great written on her forehead. And in the Bible "Babylon the Great" is called the world system of false religion.

Therefore, the harlot of Rev 19: 2 is a worldwide system of false religion.

You got it right! The great whore and harlot are just the same entity and not a woman. The bible uses metaphor, similitudes, dark and secret sayings and even parables to give understanding to the elect. When God was talking to Moses, He told him to write down certain things and to keep others secret, for himself. God showed Moses and Edras the end of the world, but they were not allowed to write it down on paper or stone.

The word "Harlot is used" because those nations sold "boys for harlots" and gave "girls for wine" so that they might feast and drink and celebrate their victory.

We know that Babylon the great is not the old Babylon because the old Babylon is mentioned in the Old Testament and the Great Babylon in the prophecies, and it's judgement has not yet come.

Daniel saw four beast and these beasts are four nations/kingdoms, and Babylon was one of these beast. Beast and mountains are kingdoms and nations in the holy bible. Babylon the great is the mother of harlots and the one who have mislead the whole world with a false image and false religions and doctrines. Hence, all religions are false and none is biblical. First came christianity, slavery and then religion, to keep the slaves docile. The Holy scriptures are thousands of years older than christianity and Christ was not teaching Christianity but Moses.

We still have many prophecies to come before all is fulfilled, and we can close the bible and wait for new instructions and new things to come.
