Often people say that only guilty people run, or only people that know they did wrong hide things.

Do you think that's truly accurate? I feel that choices are not always black and white, and often people act or react based upon perceived reactions, right or wrong, regardless if they believe they are wrong or not.

for instance, if the mob thought someone had killed someone in the family, because of the knowledge of what consequences come to those they THINK are guilty, that person may be wise to run or hide, to avoid those consequences, NOT because they actually did it.

sometimes it just doesnt matter nearly as much whether one is guilty or innocent, just what others think about whether they are and what the potential consequence from those others might be. Just a thought.
