Mine doesn't do that its really well balanced. It may be the heavier electronics, roller bridge and especially the Duncan invaders which are really heavy that balances my guitar. The epi pickups are quite light and so is the bridge on your SG. Also compare the necks mine looks a lot thinner than yours, is yours the special edition?

I got rid of the crappy tuners and added Schaller precision tuners with the black tulip tuners to match the headstock. Just to fancy it up a bit I also added the nickel plated and black enamel truss rod cover. Plays just like a SG standard. Love the Invader pickups.

I added a roller bridge, Seymour Duncan invader pick ups, and the tenion plate marked SG Custom came from an early SG.

Ok Yeti, remember where you thought it may be better to just buy a low level SG? Here's my Epi SG pro 400 that I picked up at an estate sale for a song. I stripped out the guitar and added all the goodies. The electronics came from a SG standard. I use this guitar for shredding lol
