But if it's a guy, or a lover, or just some relationship sort of crap,
then you have no idea what things will be like 1 year from now. There
could be someone to swoop in and save your butt from all of this that
you haven't even met yet.

Always look at things with the 1 year rule in mind. Always. What hurts
right now might be completely forgotten in just 1 year.
