With me, it meant that they had hurt me so long and so bad that I didn't
want to keep trying by myself to make it work. With my last ex, I still
love him for who he used to be, for everything he was for me and did for
me in the past, when I needed him. But he quit trying, he wanted me to
do everything, and I did. I couldn't keep giving without receiving, I
just gave out.

Yeah I am, but not for long. 24 hours from now I'll be at the airport,
picking up my sweetie. Hope we make it home, if he's as horny as me it
might be iffy!

My dad was that way, I quit trying to please him when I was a teenager.
If I made all A's and one B on a report card, he'd ask why I made a B. I
figured out I could never do enough, and stopped trying to get his
approval. And you know what, he respects me more today than either of my
sisters. My younger sister is still trying, and resents him terribly. I
realize now that his being so critical is just becasue he loves us and
wants what's best for us, he just never was good at showing it.

I think I just transfered my trying to please from him to my husband(s),
I was always trying to make them happy. It took me a long time to
realize that you can't make anyone happy but yourself. If they don't
wanna be happy, you can't make them.

My self worth is no longer based on anyone else's opinion of me.

Look inside yourself, make a list of what you like, what is good about
you. Put it on the fridge and read it every day, add stuff as you think
of it. Eventually you'll start believing that you are worthy, no matter
what anyone else thinks.

Look at yourself first thing each morning in the bathroom mirror and say
these words, "You are a precious child of God; God made you, knows you
and loves you exactly the way you are, and so do I."

Good: Not many dishes to wash.

Bad: Any money I find in the laundry was mine to start with.

1st was really bad, next good, next one semi-good, next one was really
good, but not just with me, so that was bad. Next was good then bad,
next was pretty good and the last is the absolute best! I'd say I'm on a
pretty good roll now.

If I don't hear back from someone who I've been hearing from regularly,
I might try back once, if nothing after that, keep looking. It does p***
me off when people do that. I can't stand to be ignored. I got over em
real quick the last time that happened to me. They aren't worth worrying
over.

There are men out there who respect women and know how to treat them
right. I never knew it until I met
<<<<<<this one. You're smart to break it off, don't settle for less than
someone who treats you as special as you are.

Prayers are never wasted, whether it was real or not. We shouldn't jump
to conclusions, and either way, JP can use God's help. God's time isn't
wasted, he's the one that makes time. And he knows what people need.

Robert called me and told me about the wreck. So sorry I wasn't online

Chris, glad you're home, even if you were a little loopy. It's so sweet
of you to let us know you're ok. You're still in my prayers.

Tell Chris we all love him and are praying for him. He does have a lot
of friends here, he's a really special guy.





A dozen roses (or Olympic torches LOL) for Chris. He's so sweet to be
concerned about us getting our daily flowers he always sends. Just like
him!
