I've only had one dream twice ever, and i recognized that it was a dream the second time. I am waiting for the third, so I can feverishly memorize the entire thing, and write it all down. It's complicated, and reminds me of being in the video game Ultima 3. There were witches, and trolls, and other strange things. Trapdoors that led to dungeon-like caves. I had to save their world or something. (In the dream) You watch to many strange movies I think--Try something with dialog maybe?

I'm not sure what people see in Sara palin.I am not for or against her but what ever she is doing she seems to be doing a good job at it.I don't think I can ever recall someone writing a book and it is already in the top seller list before it even comes out.If she gets her act together,has someone write her some good speeches,and comes up with some good ideas she with no doubt be a force to be reckoned with next year.The next Oprah winfrey? Because the rubber ones are more pretty than the real ones. I mean, you can get pink ones! Yay!

Marriage isn't a Government issue.Nobody is saying gays can't love each other but the gays are wanting marriage which was not started by the government but was started by the people long before the United states was even a country.The Government never created marriage,defined it,or supported it from the time this country was created until now.It was and always has been a private institution created between a man and a woman.Knowing that it is a issue that should be dealt with the general public it is up to the general public to decide what kind of people can legally get married.The one and only reason the Government even bothers to get involved is because some people are saying that is is infringing on their Constitional right to life,liberty,and the pursuit of happiness.It is a weak argument because 1.)Marriage is not a right nor is it mentioned in the Constitution. 2.)It is largely a Christian tradition. and 3.)It is up to the people to define what marriage is and they have defined it as a man and woman. Yep! You're right in the most literal sense. However, marriage stopped being a private institution in the mid 19th century when the common law marriage was usurped by politicians who wanted more power over individuals' lives and replaced with the modern license. If this legal maneuver hadn't occurred, we wouldn't be stuck fighting right now (typical of government actions). |

If the church hadn't submitted to the various State governments all those years ago, this wouldn't be an issue. It would be a matter between individuals and their churches. People on all sides of the issue should work together to de-politicize marriage. Let the churches issue the marriage certificates. Historically, decentralization of power has been the key to individual freedom and happiness-and I don't foresee that aspect of human nature changing anytime soon.
