first of all sorry for the type o's i broke 3 fingers this weekend and its a little difficult to hit the keys i want. all im saying its easier to date than to have relationship when you traval. from what i have seen and experienced women cant handle their man being gone withou thinking they're cheating. im only one guy on one team but i see this problem with alot crew members both drag racing and nascar

we can make phone calls after we finish work but there are no set hours or time cards. we finish when we finish. and then there is that thing called time change where im up at 700 and have time to call but its only 400 where she is, so she calls when she gets up and i cant answer because im working that is how it usually starts. then she is pissed all weekend. i cant wait to get home and she cant wait to fight. lol alot of times i leave three days after i get back

no you are right they could fly to city we are racing in that week but they would not be allowed in the pits or the hospitality area. they would be treated like spectators and i would lose my job I posted an earlier comment and the guy I referred to who was childish and insecure gave this same excuse when he was on the road. I found out he had another girl by his side and I got the "no wives or girlfriends" allowed line. I offered to buy and ticket to his show, and stay near-by, but he had another list of excuses as to why that was not possible. He was just lying about everything. Hmmmm ....  well thats the rules of the team to put it bluntly the rule is no **** in the pits. they think if we have guest, wifes girlfriends,moms ect... its a distraction and we are not focused on the job it has nothing to do with a "woman on the side" and you just prooved my point because i cant have a girl go with me right away its because another woman is involved.... wow.. been there and heard that all too many times
