Hey everyone,

I joined here a few months ago and just kinda taking a look around, and thought I'd finally break the ice.

I guess I should say a little about myself.

I was adopted into a fundamentalist baptist house, from a very neglectful abusive home previous. Didn't have many friends growing up as I didn't fit the mold of the 'cool' kids, got into a lot of fights and was pretty much a loner, but I learned lots about people from it.
From my teens I became a part of a organization that helped street kids and teens from all over the city, I was a mentor and friend to literally thousands of teens so ANY personal life drama you can think of ever happening to anyone odds are I've already dealt with it many times over.
The organization went under and it turned a lot of people jaded and bitter and messed up a lot of lives, my own included, which in turn led to a couple nervous breakdowns, and complications with some health issues which I almost died from numerous times, but I'm still here, I'm still kicking and I still got plenty of fight left in me.
Don't get me wrong i may have had many bad experiences in my life, but I learned many good things about life from those experiences.

As for me right now, I'm still figuring things out for myself and 'relearning' how to live, I don't claim to be a know-it-all BUT I wish that people when they hear someones genuine story and there's things they can learn or relate to, they would take the positive aspect of it and apply it to themselves so they wont have to go through any of the b.s. that myself, and others have gone through.

I see no reason that people have to suffer, when advice can be given to prevent them from suffering. It's all up to the person tho to take that advice and apply it.

Anyways that said I've prattled on long enough. Look forward to hearing from some new faces and maybe having some good conversations in the future. Hope everyone finds what they're looking for.

Peace
