I just got an email from a woman I don't know, and have never seen in the forums. She said she saw and read my profile and has a dear friend that she feels would be perfect for me... that we would be a perfect match, I know there is no such thing as perfect, that is just the verbiage she used.. She gave me his screen name and told me I should contact him. Never has this happened to me...anyone? I did from a friend. But not anyone I didn't know. oh good god woman i get it a lot from complete strangers doing their 'bit' for gays

Everyone is invited for high tea at fife's house............The Scots make the finest short bread, crumpets,Arbroath smokie,bannocks,colcannon,Forfar bridies,haggis,stovied tatties and black bun. Im cooking stovies tonight, yum! What are stovies? Stovies is traditionally a left over dish from the Sunday Roast, using the tatties, meat and dripping leftovers all thrown into one pot. The origins of stovies are said to come from a time when masters would give their servants the left over food from Sunday lunch. They would take this home or to their quarters and make a dish that could last them all week and was easy to cook. i prefer the tatties(not mashed)version with sausage and onion, i like the corned beef version but it's more of a corned beef hash really. |

I wasnt gonna post here cos as far as im concerned, it had died....but when i saw this... where did i get annoyed? NEVER at any point did i get annoyed, i constantly reiterated NO DISRESPECT and today like yesterday u are the ONLY one who appears unable to read what i've written and take the side of the attacker.
I didnt attack u, i asked if u would meet up with Dan and i if we were in ur area, and u said no, i stated i found that hard to understand considering u had invited both Dan and I to be on ur friends list, and that i thought it was rude of u to blatantly reject the concept. Dont label me an attacker please, its not cool. ok apologies i just thought u jumped down my throat. anyway i still don't think it was rude as i have always stated i don't meet people and i thought i was polite about it thats all.

apparently, altho not intentionally(for a change!) so let me reiterate what i have ALWAYS said since i 1st joined mingle. I am here exclusively for the forums and chat, i do not and will not meet people i chat with online, no exceptions. no disrespect is meant by this and i honestly do not think i am being rude or offensive, if however this does offend u, i apologise and feel free to remove me from ur friends list. sorry for any confusion
You're still going on about this from yesterday? Yikes. I think it's nice that he cares enough to apologize in a public thread. I've pissed countless people off on here, but never cared enough to apologize publicly, if at all. So kudos to fifer, for being caring.
He got annoyed about it in another thread yesterday, which is why I was surprised he was bringing it up again today. where did i get annoyed? If you're not annoyed, that's great. It seems to have bothered you some, though, since you made a completely new thread about it. Why worry about it if someone wanted to meet and you didn't? Why not just say no and leave it at that? it bothered me enough that i was attacked for saying nothing wrong and today my thread was to make sure no one else could 'claim' to be misled about my intentions. If u remember i did say no VERY POLITELY - which caused me to be called rude etc. |
