When last did you hear this kind of sweet words?

“You make me the happiest person alive.”

When last did you hear this kind of sweet words?

“You make me the happiest person alive.”

Yesterday.
From at least 3 of the 9 voices in my head.

But I know at least one of those voices is a compulsive liar.

So I have to think "what exactly have I done to warrant the meaning of those words?"

Did I drop a knife on my foot and my pain caused their happy response?
Was I trying to trigger happiness in them for my own sake?
Was it a natural accident/realization?
Are the words a conclusion to a long bout of thinking and epiphany?
Are they saying the sweet words because they ultimately want some kind of response from me?
Are they expressing a short term or long term emotional response?

I hear sweet words all the time.

They mean absolutely nothing outside of context and understanding of the context/relationship which engendered them.

I'm also in the "never heard exactly that" line. A long time ago I was lucky enough to hear SOME "sweet words," now and then, but ended up without a very positive experience about such overall.

Just my luck, really. I can't imagine hearing them from a SOBER person anytime soon.

Congratulations to all who have enjoyed such!
