Looking for someone to complete you...


OR, are you just so perfectly rocking this world that you just want someone around to see you making life your *****?

Or are you asking "you are depressed and feel a part of yourself is missing so you're always so melancholic and full of ennui. Or maybe relatively happy but know there are greater plateau's. Do you come to online dating sites and read dating site profiles, look for someone, and you only focus on those missing aspects and what the other person can provide you, fill in those gaps, to support or transform you into the person you think you want to be? How they can live up to who you think they should be in order to best complete you, represent you, strengthen you?"

No. I'm not an exhibitionist.



Nowhere in between.
Those aren't the only options or really two extremes on a scale.

I feel complete as a person. I have a daughter depending upon me to be nothing less.
I am definitely not perfectly rocking this world.
The biggest appeal for me to companionship is the inspiration to be better and live more, the gift of a true friend, and the security of not experiencing the ups and downs of life by myself.

Well, for sure, I have no interest whatsoever in being around someone who thinks that "making life their five asterisks" is a positive way to look at anything.

And as with others here, I saw a long while ago, that the whole idea of looking for someone else to "complete" you is a mistake.

What I've been after with no success, for half a century now, is someone who like me, views life as pretty much whatever happens (like the John Lennon quote), and that the point is to have someone to deal with it all, side by side.

Just for the sake of enjoying each other as we do whatever we do.
