Colt McCoy is a joke, a loser, and is no NFL quarterback. He has a weak arm, imperfect throwing motion, is slow, and couldn't react to the speed of NFL defenses.

Now, Claussen might develop into a possession quarterback or a solid second stringer. But, he is not the second coming of Joe Montana.

Tebow is a gifted athlete. Whatever you may feel about his quarterback deficiencies, he is a big, strong, powerful, and durable athlete. I think he could develop into a capable tight end or even a fullback in short yardage situations.

The jury is out on Bradford. When he is healthy, he is an accurate passer with a reasonably strong arm. His problem is that he has difficulties dealing with NFL defense-type speed--Florida Gators, etc.

There have been a lot of quarterbacks with deficiencies in the NFL
1. Jim Zorn- marginal talent and no team around him
2. Rodney Peete- marginal talent probably never started a game.
3. Jim Mcmahon- Even (insert your name here)can hand the ball off to Walter Payton and look good doing it.
4. DeMarcus Russell- All talent no brain
5. Steve DeBerg- Wrong place the wrong time

And many more I'm sure but the fact of the matter is that you don't have to throw the ball 60 yards to be effective. A 2 yard pass turns into a 60 yard touchdown. You get more done on the field with your brain the your arm. Colt McCoy is a smarter football player than Jimmy Claussen. In my opinion Claussen's football career will be as a back up nothing more. As for Bradford it will be a long time before he starts a NFL game barring some injury. Look at Matt Leinart for example. NFL ready qaurterbacks coming out of college are few and far between we shall see here in a couple months.

I agree Tebow will be the new version of qaurterbacks for the future a combination of strengh and mobitily. With todays offenses the days of the long ball are gone, short passes over the middle to tall receivers will be the future of the NFL.

BUST: Joe Haden- Yes, he was good in college. But most coaches in the SEC would throw at him because (one on one) he just wasn't as good as advertised. I honestly think he will not hold up to the pressure he will get in Cleveland. They risked alot in drafting him.

SURPRISE: Kareem Jackson- Arenas got all the attention in the Bama secondary, but most teams that played Bama would avoid throwing at Jackson. Quietly, he became an awesome corner, and the Texans have a defense that he should work wonders in.

They threw at him because he was always covering the other teams best reciever. He will be the number 2 corner for the Browns. He is also a good run support corner which is important in the North....smokin

I got to watch him alot (since I live in SEC country), and yeah...he is good. I just never felt he was that good. But we shall see. He had a good teacher in Charlie Strong so that helps.

One thing is for certain. Louisville's defense will be hellacious within two years. He will see to that. And he is coaching in the Big East....where they play little defense.laugh laugh
